When I was 21, I believe I was a lot like you. I struggled through my first couple of years as a contingency recruiter and learned along the way how to become a proficient recruitment Consultant – I ran an Industrial Temp desk taking our division from Zero to 350 temps out, moved into Commercial recruiting and finally Retained Search and Select. It took me nine years to reach the point when I was billing just under £750k a year consistently and it was a challenging journey.
I honestly believe I did it the ‘hard’ way, so made it my mission in life (well, one of them!) to enable consultants to become successful without having to make as many mistakes as I did in getting there, and to reach their goals far quicker than I was able to.
